Exceptional: Loved exploring the countryside, especially the stream. The owners were amazing, even let us roam their farm freely. And having a washing machine was a dream with my messy kids. Plus, visiting the Dam and Goldmines was a blast! Who needs the city? Sarcasm: Not enough mess and chaos for my liking. I prefer staying in busy, crowded places.

I stayed at a lovely cottage in a secluded location surrounded by rolling hills. The hosts were wonderful and even left me home-baked bread and a bottle of wine upon arrival. The bed was comfortable and the garden was beautiful. I enjoyed the peacefulness of the area, with only the sounds of nature - birds, insects, sheep, and the river. There was plenty to explore on walks, and the owners even allowed me to wander freely on their farm land. The access to a washing machine was a bonus, especially with my two messy children. The Dam and The Goldmines were also great places to visit nearby.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The property was set in a mind-blowingly peaceful location, perfect for long family walks, with a super stream for the kids. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, giving us free access to their farm land and greeting us with a jaw-dropping welcome package of home-baked bread and a bottle of wine. The cottage itself was lovely with a comfortable bed and a cozy recliner sofa that I couldn't resist falling asleep on. The secluded garden surrounded by rolling hills was a sight to behold, and the only sounds we heard were the delightful melodies of birds, insects, sheep, and the river. With amenities like a washing machine available, it was a dream for parents with two wet and messy children. Plus, there were plenty of nearby attractions to visit, with favorites like The Dam and The Goldmines. Free parking and wi-fi, as well as opportunities for cycling, fishing, and bringing our pets along, made our stay even more enjoyable. And to top it all off, it was a smoke-free environment. Superb!

The location of this property is simply exceptional. Tucked away in a peaceful and quiet area, it offers endless opportunities for family walks and adventures. the children will have a blast exploring the nearby stream, while you enjoy the beautiful surroundings of rolling hills and the soothing sounds of nature. Plus, the owners are so welcoming and allow you to freely wander over their farm. And don't forget the convenience of having a washing machine on hand for those wet and messy moments!
Although everything about the location and the cottage itself is amazing, it would be even better if there were more options for breakfast.

The holiday home at Crud-Y-Barcud is just perfect for a relaxed getaway. The fully equipped kitchen made me feel like a real chef, and the cozy living room was ideal for chill hangouts with friends. I loved the bathroom with a bath or shower – it was total bliss!
Though many might enjoy it, I personally found the bathroom with just a shower a bit inconvenient.
